saying goodbye

Today is the funeral for my sweet mother-in-law.

As we commit her body to the earth, we take comfort in knowing that her soul has gone on to rest in that joyful place and to wait for the time to welcome us to our eternal home.

...may we find mercy and comfort in our sorrow.
